Now, how does this thing work?
Corporate Flick
The production of a coporate flick consists of roughly three stages: pre-production, production and post-production. What actually takes place during these three stages?
Stage 1: Pre-production
Research
Over the course of several brainstorm-sessions we determine what your ideal corporate flick shall have to look like, what the exact aim of the film is, what it is the audience should remember after viewing, what your wishes and demands are regarding content and style. We will, of course, advise you in these matters and if called for we’ll present various styles. In short, the concept is emerging.
Script, shotlist and voice-over
After having received a ‘go’ on the concept we merge our earlier conceived ideas into a script and present this to you. Using your feedback and input we reach a definitive end-result. Next, we develop a detailed shotlist that may serve as a convenient aid during the shoot. In collaboration, we develop the voice-over text, and if necessary, we make a storyboard, which is a drawn-out version of specific scenes in the flick.
The Breakdown-business
After all this, we construct a breakdown analysis. This basically means that we determine how to fill up the time we have for shooting as efficiently as possible, incorporating possible external factors. We assemble the production-team, if necessary we book actors and extras, pay a visit to the location(s) to determine where we are going to film what, and we arrange the necessary materials and possibly props, as well.
Callsheet
Before the filming takes place, we send out a callsheet so that everybody involved knows where they will need to be present at the shooting, and when.
Stage 2: Production
Then, we will really begin the actual filming on location.
Stage 3: Post-production
Next, we load up all our footage, and begin the pre-editing, The crude material is being ‘cut’ and we seek the proper music with the images. This music is added to the images, as is the voice-over, and we make a first edited draft of the film. In between, we’ll show you a crude edited draft so that we may decide whether the promo conveys the right message and style. We finalize the audio and finish up with the final editing. Ultimately, we officially deliver the flick of your company, product or service on a master DVD, and if called for as an internet-file, as well.
We would like to make you a fan as well!
