So, how does this thing work, exactly?
Video production

Whatever sort of movie you want to have made, the process of realization always consists of three stages. Sometimes, not all activities need take place, like developing a script or voice-over text, but below we put a useful description of the production-process of a video production, nonetheless.

Stage 1: Pre-production

Research and brainstorm
During one or multiple brainstorm-sessions, we determine what your perfect video production should look like. What kind of film will this be? A promo, a tutorial, an educational video, an instruction flick, a training video, a convention film or a documentary? No clue as yet? We’ll be helping you out, there. We pilch from your subconscious the aim of your production, what your audience should remember after having seen it, your desires with regard to content and style; hey, to pull you over that thin line, we can even show you a nuber of different styles, for example.

After this, we design a concept and after your approval, build a script. All parties together we determine a final version. We construct a detailed shotlist that describes all necessary shots per scene, and if necessary we write a voice-over text. Sometimes the production requires a storyboard, which is a drawn-out version of certain scenes in the film. If that’s the case, we provide that, as well.

The Breakdown-business
After all this, we construct a breakdown analysis. This basically means that we determine how to fill up the time we have for shooting as efficiently as possible, incorporating possible external factors. We assemble the production-team, if necessary we book actors and extras, pay a visit to the location(s) to determine where we are going to film what, and we arrange the necessary materials and possibly props, as well.

Callsheet
Prior to the shooting, everybody receives a callsheet. This states who is to be when and where at the shoot.

Stage 2: Production
During this stage the actual filming on location takes place.

Stage 3: Post-production
We load up all our footage and start editing. The raw footage is cut, and we find music to fit the images. We add the voice-over and deliver a half-time raw version of the film. You will see instantly whether your film conveys the right message and style. We finalize audio and produce the ultimate version. Once the film is finished, we officially deliver it on a master-DVD, or any other format you wish, including, of course, as an internet-file.
