TV-commercial ThyssenKrupp: ain’t no stairway high enough
Arnhem, April 8, 2008

A nice and chillin’ motown-tune. The clip shows a couple charging up their stairs at three different stages in their lives: as newly-weds, in their fifties and in the fall of their lives, their seventies. The final stage shows the charging to have ceased and a mono-lift is the means of transportation, here. And the choir goes “lift me up…
ThyssenKrupp’s Mono-lifts help you up every stairway.

The new TV-commercial we developed for ThyssenKrupp Mono-lifts was a fun-gig! It’s currently broadcast on channels Nederland 1, 2 and 3. The clip seduces the elderly, 65 years and over, to request additional info on mono-lift “The Swing”.

Buck
ThyssenKrupp came up with their own screenplay and concept for the commercial. Four Corners continued to design and develop the storyboard that was used in the pre-test for a small number of people from the target group. Studio Wijlaars of Eindhoven built a set presenting the interior of a house, and adapted the furnishing according to the time-frame in which the scenes were set. Four Corners adjusted the trappings in collaboration with Studio Wijlaars and ThyssenKrupp, booked the actors – including Buck, the dog, managed styling and make-up, edited the commercial, and delivered to STER.

A very interesting project with a fantastic commissioner. ThyssenKrupp Mono-lifts is a part of ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG, one of the worlds largest elevator-companies, and the leading department within the ThyssenKrupp Group’s lift activities. With an annual turnover of about € 4.7 billion and nearly 40,000 employees on over 800 locations, the group is active throughout the entire chartered world.
