The Korps Landelijke Politiediensten (Corps of National Police-services, KLPD) executes police-actions that have a special character or require a specialist organisation. These are tasks that supersede the borders of police-regions or that have a national or international importance. The KLPD executes specialized tasks individually, as well as supporting regional Corpses in the execution of the standard police-activities. The organisation boasts over 5,000 employees, each of which contributes to the security of our society from their own disciplines and expertise.
